Sue Daly wildlife film-maker


    

Sue Daly is an independent wildlife film-maker, writer and camerawoman. She originally specialised in underwater camera work and her first full length film, ‘Bouley Bay Watch’, won two major international awards and was purchased by National Geographic Channel. Her first series, Wild Islands, is due to be broadcast this autumn.

 Sue works above water on her own digibeta and, as well as filming and producing several of her own programmes, she has also worked for various production companies including the BBC Natural History Unit. She has also filmed and produced information pieces for the Marine Conservation Society, St Abb’s Marine Reserve and English Nature. 

Stills by Sue have featured in many natural history books and national magazines including BBC Wildlife and Dive. Her images have featured on a set of Jersey stamps and she has written and illustrated two books on Channel Island wildlife.

 Sue has an extensive library of underwater footage mostly from the British Isles. She also has a large collection of Channel Island natural history footage on digibeta.
